brain food

As you all know, I am a technical writer, an English major. As an English major people expect me to have read certain distinguished books such as those on the list below. I haven't read most of them. Sad. I've only read 15, unless I counted wrong. But I'm smart; I promise. I graduated Cum Lade. I just read for pleasure...not literary enlightenment. I've read a few Jane Austens. But, I'm really picky about my reading material...I like romance novels of an uplifting nature...like LDS romance novels. I know, I know, I am a disgrace to all of my comrades. Jerilynn and Amelia have probably read every book on the list, twice. At least Kari has only read 12; beatcha, Biotch!!! ;) How bout you, Els?

Instructions:
1) Look at the list and put an 'x' after those you have read.
2) Put a % after those you've read a portion of.
3) Add a '+' to the ones you LOVE.

I've only read about 28 of them. Don't bother reading Tess of the D'urbervilles. I think it would infuriate you. I can give you a synopsis if you want one.
